Christmas Characters for Magical Grotto - November-December only

Are you ho-ho-hoping for a part time job this winter?

We know it's only October, but there's one man who needs to plan for Christmas early…. and that's the man with the white beard, together with his helpers. So, here at Bedruthan we are recruiting for the jolliest jobs around - 2 Santa's and 4 Elves.

The role of Santa and Elves at Bedruthan

The successful candidates will be responsible for creating memorable visits by talking to children in our magical grotto, handing out our amazing presents, whilst also posing for photos wearing excellent costumes.

Full training is provided; Father Christmas and the Elves are assisted with clever techniques and a fun dialogue!

You could be our Santa or Elf if you:
• Love Christmas
• Work well with children
• Are organised and on time
• Are jolly and cheerful
• Are talkative and enthusiastic
• Are cheeky and mischievous
• Are partial to mince pies
• Have drama training or amateur dramatic experience
• Look good in red and have your own appropriate beard or can wear one with confidence (Santa only!)

Perks:
• Short fixed term contract 21 Nov to 24 December
• Good cheer hours 9am-3pm or 2-8.30pm
• Shifts mainly Thursday - Sunday
• £7.35 per hour
• Elf and Safety training
• DBS check paid for

Training will begin week commencing 21 November

Performances run from 29 November to 24 December

Closing Date is Monday 31 October and if you make it on to our shortlist, you will need to attend a Selection Day on Tuesday 8 November so make sure you are available on that date.
