We’re looking for a positive and motivated individual to join Age Cymru. As the only Wales based national charity devoted to addressing all the issues affecting older people in Wales, this is an opportunity to join at an exciting and challenging time as we continue our journey to create an age friendly Wales. This post is with Age Cymru Enterprises Ltd and is based at our concept store in Pontypridd.

Your ability to excel in sales and customer service will help us to build on our reputation as the organisation that is truly establishing an Age Friendly Wales.

Full training will be provided, to ensure that you meet Financial Conduct Authority requirements.

The role involves lots of contact with the public, both over the telephone and face-to-face, so you will need prior customer service experience in a public facing role. You’ll also need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels, in writing and verbally.

Previous experience of working in an insurance or financial environment would be a distinct advantage.
