Assessor - Motor Vehicle

37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Salary £23,000 per annum

We require an Assessor - Motor Vehicle at our Corby campus, to oversee the effective sign ups, delivery and deployment of integrated programmes of competence based training.

The successful candidate will; recruit, interview and complete initial assessments of learners; provide instruction, guidance and support to learners and assess learners' performance against award standards. You will co-ordinate the internal verification process, implementing and maintaining the College policies and procedures.

The essential criteria for this vacancy is a Level 3 qualification in Automotive Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. The successful applicant should hold an A1 Assessor award and have a good all round level of education to include Maths and English to GCSE (Grade A - C) or equivalent level (level 2). You will also have recent relevant industrial experience within the Automotive sector and experience of coordinating competence based programmes and liaising with work based providers/employers.
