We are looking for an enthusiastic Programme Leader/Assessor to deliver and assess Bricklaying across a range of levels within our Construction department. If you are passionate about delivering an outstanding student experience and helping learners reach their full potential then this is the role for you!
The Role
As Programme Leader/Assessor in Bricklaying, you will be responsible for the delivery of an outstanding student experience on your programmes. You will ensure that the highest standards are delivered in teaching, learning and assessment and that students are able to reach their full potential, completing all the elements in their study programme in a timely manner.
You will have responsibility for recruitment of students as well as attendance and retention once they start their learner journey with us, ensuring success and progression of individual learners within a framework of continual improvement.
As a Programme Leader, you will lead the course team and provision and drive a high quality learner experience through all stages of the learning journey; taking responsibility for collating reviewing and disseminating, all aspects of learner progress.
You
You will have at least a level 3 qualification in bricklaying, relevant assessing qualifications as well as relevant vocational experience. Yo00u will be highly motivated with the ability to use your initiative to pre-empt and solve issues if and when they arise. You will be able to demonstrate that you are responsive and can differentiate to the needs of the learner. You will have a quality mind set, being able to demonstrate seeking out better and more innovative ways of doing things whether that be in delivery, preparation or assessment of learners.
It is essential that you can demonstrate; the ability to lead quality improvement strategies designed to improve student success and progression and an awareness of electrical installation development, changes in the educational landscape relating to Further Education and study programmes.
