Salary £24-27k DOE p.a

We are seeking a new Sous Chef to begin in November 2016, with the potential for slightly earlier.

We are a small (32 cover) award-winning restaurant based in St. Paul's/Blackfriars that serves a menu of American regional cuisine that changes regularly, serves superb cocktails, wine and spirits, and has a very strong emphasis on service. We've been trading for over 2 years and are planning to begin expansion to a second site next year - potential for new staff to grow with the business.

Our core governing principles are those of Danny Meyer's 'Enlightened Hospitality'. As such we look for emotionally intelligent and passionate people, whether they're customer-facing or in the kitchen.

Hours are anticipated to be approximately 50 per week, The role is as a full-time employee, with 28 days of paid leave per year.

The ideal candidate will either be a Chef de Partie, or a current Sous chef, who has experience with American cuisine beyond burgers and hot dogs. Serious interest in the cuisine is a reasonable substitute. Must be willing to work in a tight brigade with a similarly small kitchen.
