Currently recruiting a Junior iOS Developer who possesses a genuine passion for software and is interested in a career developing all things iOS.
Position Summary
As Junior iOS Developer a working knowledge of Swift is essential, and some knowledge of Objective-C would be advantageous, although not strictly necessary as you will be afforded the time and opportunity to learn the basics as part of your role.
Working within a team of multi-disciplined engineers, the Junior iOS Developer you will contribute to the creativity and dynamism that has made our client’s product such a success and will continue to make it stronger in the future.
You will be part of a friendly and supportive team and there will be plenty of opportunity to grow from a junior position as the company grows further and your skills develop.
What will you be doing?
As Junior iOS Developer you will be responsible for;
• Assisting in the development of the iOS product, adding new features and correcting faults alongside the current development team
• Responsible for aiding the test team in understanding how the software works internally and help in replicating faults which have been recorded by the customer services department
• You will use the company’s source control system on a daily basis (GitHub) and their bug reporting and feature request tool (Pivotal Tracker).
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will;
• Have a genuine passion for designing software that people love to use.
• Familiar with modern source control systems such as Git.
• Have a working knowledge of the Swift programming and some experience developing software on an iOS platform
