Graphic Designer

Salary: £21,000 - £26,000

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our busy Marketing Team.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our small Marketing Team in delivering an outstanding service to meet the demands of a vibrant educational and commercial environment. The role will support the provision of a professional marketing service to the College through creating, designing and managing the visual elements of the College's marketing activity including online, outdoor marketing, printed collateral and other external communications.

You will be responsible for managing and owning the graphic design work schedule, designing engaging and targeted marketing materials for offline and online integrated marketing campaigns to promote the college and the courses it offers.

You will have experience of creating engaging and targeted creative for integrated off and online marketing campaigns with excellent attention to detail and proof reading, a track record of using DTP packages including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Abode Flash with the formal qualifications and portfolio to support your experience. You will have experience of using an Apple Mac computer and experience of designing animated GIF's.

In addition to this you will be able to understand key markets and how to target them effectively, have excellent copy-editing skills and successful project management experience including meeting deadlines. You will create designs for print, online (including animated adverts) and other media using our in-house Desk Top publishing packages and be a brand guardian for the College, developing, and maintaining adherence to the brand guidelines.

You will be required to balance a busy workload dealing with multiple stakeholders so excellent communication and organisational skills are a must. You will also be able to meet challenging deadlines and work within a collaborative team environment. You must be confident to present ideas intelligently to colleagues and receptive to developing ideas as part of a team
