Digital Content Executive
Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm

Our client has identified an opportunity for an experienced Digital Content Executive to join their growing team based in London.

Position Summary
Reporting to the Head of Public Affairs & Communications as Digital Content Executive, you will be joining the team at a really exciting time of growth. Working to develop the business’ communication platform, you will gain experience working in a challenging, fast paced environment with a strong focus on increasing the companies’ social media presence.
Your main roles and responsibilities will include;

• Responsible for sourcing, writing, editing, uploading and optimising content
• Creation, development and management of social media channels for the business and drive maximum engagement from followers across Twitter, Facebook etc.
• Writing blog content / articles on issues that affect members and aim to reach new potential members
• Report on live events, launch digital campaigns and work on new functionality with existing team
• Managing requests from other teams for email communications to members
• Creating email messages on in house CallPro system, managing the lists of recipients and monitoring the sending of the emails
• Creating timely, focused content for and the all social media platforms and the NFRN website revising / updating existing content as required
• Attendance will occasionally be required at events which may require an overnight stay
• Develop and deliver social media & content strategy including unique visitors, improving user experience, growing leadership and social media following.
Who are we looking for?
The successful Digital Content Executive will have a mature and confident approach to work combined with the below requirements to undertake this role;
• Experience and familiarity with various social media platforms and Word press is essential, experience with CallPro is desirable
• Knowledge of digital marketing and support functions including Google analytics, SEO, tracking cookies, Photoshop and design knowledge is essential
• Proven experience with writing, editing, blogging and social media marketing
• Understanding of website management (specific training will be provided)
• Database management skills and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately, both written and verbally
• Meticulous and methodical approach to work
• Exceptional organisational, accuracy and attention to detail skills
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and work to tight deadlines
• Due to the nature of the role flexibility and an adaptable attitude is essential
• The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Tact and discretion, for dealing with confidential information
• Knowledge of national political scene is desirable
