Process Biotechnologist

Process Biotechnologist role, Nottingham

We are seeking a Process Biotechnologist, to join the Operations team in Nottingham, UK. The key function of this position involves working as part of a manufacturing operations shift team producing cGMP compliant biopharmaceuticals. In this highly automated manufacturing environment you will be responsible for operation of fermentation, cell separation, chromatography and ultrafiltration equipment as well as in-process sampling and laboratory analysis.

In addition the job will involve the implementation of Operational Excellence programs and assistance with deviation management, change control and CAPA.

The Ideal Candidate:

There are no formal minimum requirements for this position although typically candidates will have a science or life science academic qualification / relevant background. As an individual you must show the aptitude and ability to perform the process tasks involved without supervision.
