Due to the outstanding success of the Exeter College and Flybe partnership which is developing aerospace engineers for the future, we have an exciting opportunity within the College for a  B1 or B2 qualified aerospace associate lecturer (variable hours).

In the Faculty of Engineering, Automotive and Aerospace we give students the opportunity to learn a range of practical skills supported by in-depth under pinning knowledge of the subject, this method ensures that the skills developed meet the needs of employers and allow for progression to Higher Education. We have a large number of students completing apprenticeships and 400+ fulltime students studying at the ‘State of the art ‘Technology Centre in Monkerton, Exeter.

You will be working within a small but highly motivated and dedicated team teaching EASA Part 66 Modules to Exeter College students.

Experience of working within the aviation industry is essential as are workshop hand skills.

If you feel that you have a relevant engineering background and relevant expertise from either the civil or military aerospace, and are passionate about training the UK's future engineers and are interested in the above post, we would very much like to hear from you.  Whilst ideal candidates will have a teaching qualification, it is your industry skills and experience we rely on most. For an informal discussion about the post please contact the Aerospace Training Manager, Graham Noon on 01392 880942.
