Supply Chain Consultant, Supply Chain Analytics

Tank Recruitment are looking for a talented Supply Chain Consultant to work with client organisations to enhance supply chain and logistics performance through strategic planning, process re-engineering, and/or information technology implementation. Developing and managing a wide range of projects which include but are not limited to: global supply chain optimization, software selection and development, strategic sourcing, and logistics network design. Helping clients develop the tools, processes and knowledge base needed to create customer value, build competitive advantage, and boost profitability.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Joint Support Chain MOD, Dentifies clients' problems, opportunities, and risks, Gathers and analyses relevant data, Conducts client interviews and facility visits, Develops and evaluates alternative strategies, Develops reports and presents findings to clients, Works with clients to implement solutions, Able to design and deliver supply chain design solutions using a host of innovative solutions, Understand key business performance levers (on-time delivery, cost, feasibility, etc.) and seek solutions to improve these metrics, Work to identify, define, develop and execute process improvement projects under the direction of the client's sponsors, Familiarity with planning, forecasting, inventory management and sourcing, Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience in industrial engineering, operations research, or supply chain management is a must.
