Our client is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant (Sales & purchase ledger) to join their team.

In this role you will oversee the accounts in a fast moving signage company based solely within the sports market providing services throughout the UK and Europe, in accordance with agreed business plans and strategy.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

-To manage sales and purchase ledger, reconciliations, credit control, cash book, month end and all accounts related administration and queries
-Banking and petty cash
-To work alongside the company accountant in a professional, positive environment
-Invoicing ??? Internal and external processing
-Working with the internal team to implement the company's values and goals
-Supervising and motivating team members
-Liaise and attend meetings for performance improvement which aid business and organisational development
-Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills

Key Competencies:

-Previous experience essential
-Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts and Microsoft office
-Planning and organizing
-Excellent phone manner
-Ability to work under pressure

-Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-Time management

-Influencing, leading and Team work
