Salary: £15,695 – £18,300 pa + enhancements for Sleep-Ins & Night Working

Housingrecruit.com is currently advertising for Support Workers on behalf of their client, a leading social housing provider based in Burton Lattimer.

This is a new project for adults with complex and challenging needs in Burton Latimer and Support Workers who can demonstrate an understanding towards individuals who are experiencing great changes in their lives are required.

You will work with service users enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives in the community by meeting their support plan outcomes.

For these Support Worker roles, candidates will be highly motivated, good team players who have good communication and person-centred support skills. You will need empathy and compassion while being able to demonstrate a robust and safe approach to managing risk positively.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to make their first step into a social care role as full free training will be provided.

All successful candidates will be required to work on a shift basis over a 24 hour period including weekends, bank holidays and sleep in’s; a 33% bonus is paid for waking nights and double time paid for Christmas and New Year shifts. In addition, an allowance of £35.27 is also paid for sleep-ins.
