They now have an opportunity for a Skills Trainer / Assessor in Motor Vehicle to join them where you will recruit, induct, train, review, assess, monitor and track work based and work related candidates.

As a Skills Trainer/Assessor you will maintain a minimum student caseload and undertake Internal Verification duties when required. Providing appropriate information, advice and guidance on Work Based and Work Related programmes in the school, you will carry out initial assessment screening and reviews with students to ensure they are placed on appropriate training programmes.

Working with employers to identify learning needs and delivering training and assessment on work related and other programmes, you will review and monitor student progress whilst completing relevant documentation and recruiting students onto programmes through new business activity.

Our client are looking for someone who has a Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle coupled with Maths and English to Level 2 (GCSE A-C) and ideally an Assessor and / or PTTLS qualifications (or a willingness to work towards this). With substantial skill within the industry, you will have recent experience of assessing in the workplace as well as the ability to respond to the needs of employers and students. Excellent communication skills are key, as is having an enthusiasm and commitment to provide an excellent service to employees and students alike.
