Community Lives Consortium is a Domiciliary Care Agency that provides support for people with a learning disability to live the life they choose within their local communities. To comply with our responsibilities regarding the safeguarding of vulnerable adults, we currently have the following temporary post:
(TEMPORARY) COMPLAINT INVESTIGATOR – UP TO 9 MONTHS FROM START OF CONTRACT
Hours of work – 22.5 hours per week over 3 days.
Based in Swansea (some travelling will be required within Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot)
Salary: £23,708 pro rata per annum (£14,417.03 per annum for 22.5 hour temporary contract)

The post holder will be required to investigate safeguarding and service concerns in accordance with the organisation’s safeguarding procedures and employment legislation.
With a relevant qualification relating to conducting investigations or a commitment to achieving this, the successful applicant will also have excellent communication, time management and report writing skills. Experience of conducting investigations is essential, preferably within the social care sector.
All applicants are required hold a valid driver’s licence that enables them to drive in the UK and have Business Class 1 vehicle insurance on their policy.
The successful post holder will be entitled to 29 days holiday (inc. 8 Bank Holidays) pro rata per annum and a generous Company Pension scheme.
