Salary £16-19k dependent on experience
Hours 8.30 – 4.30 Monday to Friday
Our client are specialists in the supply and installation of electrical distribution equipment.
They are now looking to employ an experiencedReceptionist/Administrator who will be responsible for taking care of all general administrative procedures within the Office. You will also be looking after the incoming telephone calls and assisting where necessary within each department.
Key responsibilities, but not limited to:-
·Overall management of the company’s switchboard
·Meeting and greeting office visitors
·Control of office diary including transition from a paper diary to an electronic Outlook diary
·Scheduling and attending meetings, creating agendas and taking minutes
·Processing annual leave requests and adding to relevant diaries
·Maintaining company websites and internal databases
·Arranging travel and accommodation for staff/engineers and other contacts
·Arranging in-house and external events
·Ordering and maintaining Stationery, PPE and First Aid supplies
·Providing first line IT Support to the office and escalating any further IT issues to the appointed IT consultant.
·Maintaining register of training qualifications for staff/engineers and arranging relevant training sessions
·Collation and adaptation of Quality Control documentation
·Creating and maintaining filing systems including archiving
·Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post
·Photocopying and printing office documentation
·Processing test certification and distributing accordingly
·Undertaking general secretarial duties
·Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power-point essential
·Good communication skills both written and face to face
·Punctual and reliable
·Able to prioritise own workload
·A friendly and confident personality
·A smart appearance
·The ability to stay calm under pressure
·Excellent organisational skills
