Site Operative key responsibilities:
- Assist in the safe, efficient and profitable operation by providing operative services together with interface with customers and the general public.
- Politely advise and assist site users, to maximise segregation and recycling and portray the best corporate image.
- Redirect commercial customers to the site weighbridge so they can enquire about opening a business account.
- Picking and segregation of waste within the site, cleaning of yard areas and perimeter boundaries. Checking bales of material for contamination prior to loading.
- Remain aware at all times of your responsibilities for your own H&S and for the H&S of others.
- You must adhere to all Company Policies & Procedures, including but not limited to, those specified in the Employee Handbook, H&S Policy.
The ideal Site Operative:
- Basic Knowledge of light plant facilities
- Working in a busy plant orientated environment
- Strong Customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Work on own initiative
- Resilient and self-motivated
- Full driving licence
- A CITB Licence or equivalent licence for tele handler and Fork lift truck
