Due to accelerated growth a position has become available for Trade Counter Manager to join an award-winning UK bathroom retailer. Based in Leigh, Lancashire, the successful Trade Counter Manager will join the management and sales team to earn a salary of £24,000, OTE £27,000-£30,000.
As a Trade Counter Manager you will work together with the department managers and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the showroom. The Trade Counter Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance of the Trade Counter Assistant Manager and sales advisors. As a Trade Counter Manager you will work together with the department managers and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the showroom. The Trade Counter Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance of the Trade Counter Assistant Manager and sales advisors. Reporting to the area manager, your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Responsible for the operation of the showroom
- Recruiting and training new employees and revising orientation to products and sales training materials
- Achieving and exceeding in store and phone KPI’s/Targets put in place
- Leading, coaching and mentoring sales advisors to achieve/exceed in store and phone KPI’s/Targets
- Evaluates competition by visiting competing stores, gathering information such as style, quality and prices of competitors.
- Preparing reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information
- Maintaining Health and Safety, to maintain a safe and clean store environment at all times
- Helping customers by providing information, answering questions, obtaining merchandise requested and completing payment transactions.
- Providing analytical reports to display performance for the store
- Reporting discrepancies and problems to senior management.
