We are currently recruiting to the following position:
Print Services Reprographic Technician
Salary of £16,005 to £18,350 p.a.
We are seeking a Reprographic Technician. As part of a small team you will help to manage the large-volume photocopiers and ancillary equipment in our busy College Reprographic Unit.
This is a very much a 'hands on' job using the best equipment and the latest software to control all print and copies throughout the College. You must be highly motivated and customer focussed and determined to ensure that the quality of the service is continually improved.
You must be able to work accurately whilst maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment, dealing with a high volume of day-to-day requests from Departments throughout the College as well as from outside societies, groups and individual members of the public. The successful applicant will be able to communicate effectively at all levels in a calm and professional manner. You will have knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and an understanding of different file formats and electronic document handling.
You will have obtained a GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A-C) and although not essential, a qualification in customer care would be an advantage.
This position is full-time, but consideration will be given to those interested in a job-share, with the possibility of a morning and early afternoon and an afternoon and early evening shift available.
We are able to offer you a final salary pension scheme, generous holidays and the facilities of a College campus set in 7 acres of green belt in a peaceful setting. The College has excellent transport links and is set in a location convenient to London and the South East and offers a large free on-site car park.
Closing date for on line applications: 6 November 2016
Interviews will be held on: Monday 14 November 2016
We are an equal opportunities employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of learners and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening including checks with past employers and enhanced DBS clearance.
