The Distance Learning Unit is currently looking for a suitably qualified practitioner to assess learners' work and provide feedback for the NOCN level 2 Information Advice and Guidance Programme. Ideally qualified to Level 3 in Teaching you must also be qualified at a minimum of Level 3 in Information Advice and Guidance and be able to demonstrate experience in an advisory role. You will assess learners' work against the specification for the programme and provide constructive written feedback to support learners to complete the course.

Although the role is a casual role that involves working from home at hours to suit you must be able to manage the work allocated according to the required deadlines. It is anticipated that given the current demand for the course you would be allocated approximately 15-20 hours marking a week.

Depending on your qualifications and experience you may also be asked to mark on other courses at times of increased demand.
