Audio Visual Installation Technician
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic AV Installation Technician to join our Technical Team. Having strong organisational skills, you will attend sites providing AV system installation and support, have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology, high profile clients and meet major suppliers from around the world.
Working as part of a team you will be expected to occasionally carry out technical support tasks whilst working on long term projects and assisting the sales team with technical queries.
Responsibilities to include (but not limited to):
- Installing LCD screens & projectors
- Cabling
- Videowalls
- Touch screen control systems
- Rear projection systems
- Digital signage
- Room booking systems
- Server software
- Rack building
- Project planning
- System design
- Telephone/remote technical support
In-house, manufacturer and third party training is available covering AV hardware, technical and software solutions.
You will also have the opportunity to work alongside partner companies in this fast growing industry.
As an Installation Technician, you will have a keen interest in all areas of technology with the willingness to learn and take on new skills.
Full UK driving license required.
Position is based from our office in Mildenhall but also includes UK travel.
