Project Manager - Payments

Main Responsibilities:

• Delivery of complex change to scope, time and budget
• Facilitation of kick-off sessions, requirements gathering and steering meetings
• Working closely with the Business Analyst and internal/external development teams to define and deliver pragmatic solutions which meet the business and customer needs
• Matrix management of cross-functional teams
• Weekly project status reporting for wider business review and prioritisation
• Mentoring of Junior PM

Experience and knowledge:

Essential:

• At least 5 years' experience of Project Management
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Experience of the full Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience of formal Project Management methodologies
• Proven experience of building effective project teams
• Ability to deliver in a fast moving environment with changing priorities
• Accurate project planning and estimation
• Intermediate/Advanced MS Office skills
• Payment schemes and processing (eg Faster Payments, Swift, Direct Debit, SEPA)

Desirable:

• Previous experience in delivering any of the following: -

• Digital transformation projects
• Exposure of services to third parties via API's
• On-line acquisition (application forms)
• On-line and mobile banking (self-service portal)
• Parent/child capabilities

• Beneficial financial services experience
• Prepaid/Debit/Credit card processing
• Mobile payment technologies
