The world's leading provider of intelligent business information is seeking an experienced and ambitious Sales Manager to join their legal organisation. Their legal business provides innovative products and services into law firms, corporate legal departments and public sector clients globally, allowing customers to react quickly to the ever-changing field.
You will directly manage a team of 4 Sales Specialists and Customer Relationship Managers, and will also be required to generate business from new and existing customers. Working collaboratively across the sales function and with key stakeholders within the wider business to exceed business targets, you will drive forward success within your team. You will help to build and develop the sales strategy for some of their key products in order to achieve growth and market share ensuring successful adoption by existing customers.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with the Software Solutions Sales Director to implement best practice sales models that delivers high performance and supports the transition to a software solutions organisation
- Direct management of a team of 4; inspiring and motivating these individuals to increase effectiveness and achieve sales targets. Ensuring that your team have an in-depth knowledge of the Legal Solutions products, industry trends, customers and competitors.
- Driving new sales to grow market share and revenues by identifying opportunities and new leads through the utilisation of specialist knowledge and development of the sales process, producing customer-specific proposals and attending client meetings to build strong relationships.
- Work collaboratively cross-functionally across internal teams, helping to deliver specialist promotions and marketing campaigns that will help to develop new opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
You should possess proven sales management experience within the software solutions industry, with a proven record of results. A good understanding of general business, as well as an excellent technical aptitude and a good understanding of SaaS go to market strategies will stand you in good stead for this position, as will experience within the legal sector. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels of a client's organisation, as well as with senior stakeholders internally.
The position will pay up to GBP75,000 plus an OTE bonus of GBP40,000 and benefits
