Business Development Manager - covering the North

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an energetic, proven, and positive business development professional with a strong understanding of the energy market. You will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on an ambitious and growing organization. Being a home based role, travel is a prerequisite as is the ability to travel on short notice within the UK and spend at least one day per week in our Home Counties office.


  • Will have a strong sales background
  • Proven experience identifying target clients and securing business
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and come up with innovative strategies to secure business
  • Strong understanding of the UK Energy sector.
  • Capable of demonstrating previously achieving successful account management performance
  • Experience of managing people


  • Ideally have a demonstrable track record of success with B2B sales.
  • A degree level education or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of the power industry arena.

Day to Day role:

In this role you will your main duty will be to go out and generate new business within the industry. You will be required to be in the office one day a week and be out client facing for four days. You will also have the responsibility of running a small team of Account Managers.

This is a great opportunity for an individual with a proven track record of winning new business and has had the responsibility of managing a team.

Location: Home Counties (North cover)

Salary: GBP50,000 + 30% Bonus
