Bath School of Art and Design is situated at the top of Sion Hill, Bath, with exceptional views across the city is the main hub for the School, providing workshops, studios, seminar rooms, lecture theatre and the specialist library. Across the School's various satellite sites, Fashion can be found in the enviable No 4 The Circus, which is just a moment away from the Fashion Museum, and in Palace Yard Mews, along with Photography and Research. Additional Dartmouth Avenue artists studios are in the city's student quarter, and the research facilities are in the very impressive setting of Corsham Court.
About the role
To sell appropriate materials to students and other customers and to assist with the operation of the School of Art and Design's retail operations and support the Resources Manager. To source, order and supply good quality materials and goods and ensure best value for money for the School and University. To be prepared to work on any University site if necessary.
About you (requirements)
You will have excellent customer service skills as well as good numeracy and literacy skills, and the ability to work as part of a team and contribute effectively to successful team working. You will need the ability to cope with duties and responsibilities and with associated physical working environment, and you will have the ability to work and interact well with people at all levels.
Ideally, you will have Previous experience of retail trade/cash handling, and a knowledge of or interest in art.
