The Governors are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Careers Advisor to provide high quality Careers Information, Advice and Guidance to our young people.
The role is mainly to deliver effective guidance, on both a one to one basis and group delivery in St Mary's College, but will include some involvement in related projects within out partner organisations such as developing an approach to Primary School Careers Education.
Candidates will be required to work 35 hours per week with occasional evenings and Exam results days.
You will be proactive, energetic, innovative and passionate about supporting young people.
You must have 5 GCSE's at Grade C and above, including Maths and English and it is desirable that you have a an appropriate level 6 IAG qualification or Level 4 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent (Candidates who commit to achieving such a qualification within a year will also be considered).
You must hold experience of working as a Careers Adviser previously.
