Oracle (SOA) Middleware Support Specialist - Hatfield (Permanent)
We are urgently recruiting for an Oracle SOA support Specialist for my client, a market leading organisation. They have recently gone through a period of organisational and technological change and are now recruiting an Oracle SOA Subject Matter Expert to join their team.
This individual will work on the ongoing functional support and development of their systems, involving 60% support and 40% development.
As an experienced Oracle Support Specialist you will have the following responsibilities:
*Manage and resolve issues logged by internal customers on Oracle products and contribute to proactive support activities according to product support strategy and service model
*Maintain product expertise in SOA and related data integration technologies
*Second and third line functional support in a busy IT services team, managing incidents/service requests
*Undertaking systems maintenance tasks and automating routine tasks
*Install/configure/manage/monitor Oracle Fusion Middleware products and Weblogic
*Troubleshooting Weblogic, SOA, OSB and BAM
*Troubleshooting of XML message, request/response and troubleshooting
*Application code deployment, version control and understanding of development life cycle.
*Developing processes and procedures to maintain/improve service model
*Supporting 24*7 production environment with SLA's.
You will ideally come from an Oracle support background and be able to provide evidence of experience of providing functional support within an Oracle SOA and Middleware environment with the following skills:
*Experience with Oracle SOA Suite12c - Weblogic, SOA, OSB and BAM
*Experience of Design and Implementation of SOAP Web Services, REST APIs and Business Process Orchestration
*Experience in Oracle 12c Weblogic/SOA/OSB Installation and Configuration in Multi node Clustered Environments for Failover and Load Balancing.
*Experience in Unix/Linux/Solaris Operating Systems
*Experience in Performance tuning of Oracle SOA/OSB environments
*Proven experience as an Oracle Middleware Administrator within the Oracle Fusion Middleware Products
*Experience in DevOps and automation of build & deploy using Continuous Integration Frameworks
*Experience in Production support
*Good communication skills, written & verbal
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Must be part of 24*7 on call rota
Good to have skills:
1.SOA Best practices.
2.Integration design patterns.
3.IBM WebSphere.
