ION, REFDATA, BBG MDATA, PXE, Daemon configuration, D2C and D2D IRS gateways, D2C and D2D Bond gateways, CTS, TOMS STP, VMO,VMQ,PERFMON,DPLAYER/DRECORDER,SDP, PTV

My client is a leading provider of consulting services to financial institutions that work cross-asset with multi-system high volume trading activities. They scope, design, develop, implement and support critical data and trading systems from front to Back Office.

Currently we are looking for an ION specialist who can build on top of ION, rather a core ION technical specialist who understands the business use and configuration of a wide cross-section of ION components (preferably on Windows) and has acquired these skills in a relevant environment


Essential ION Experience:

  • REFDATA
  • BBG MDATA
  • PXE and its use for Credit and Rates markets
  • Daemon configuration

Desirable ION Experience:

  • D2C and D2D IRS gateways
  • D2C and D2D Bond gateways
  • CTS
  • TOMS STP
  • VMO
  • VMQ
  • PERFMON
  • DPLAYER/DRECORDER
  • SDP
  • PTV

General Ability:

2 years + Tier 1 Bank exposure to Front Office trading environment, ideally Development team experience (rather than support). Knowledge of testing approaches and methodologies and environment management. Strong business knowledge of Fixed Income markets and regulatory roadmap eg MIFID with strong verbal/written communication skills
