Assistant Production Manager
The Role
IntaPeople are proud to be representing our prestigious client in recruiting an Assistant Production Manager. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position offers an excellent and challenging opportunity for a self-motivated individual. Applicants should have a strong educational background and be familiar with all current Safety and Environmental legislation. Candidates will be expected to exhibit supervisory skills with the ability to liaise and effectively communicate at all levels.
The Responsibilities
As a key member of the Production Team, candidates will be expected to effectively manage day-to-day operations including:
Ensuring the daily plan for the line is achieved
Achieving or exceeding expected line performance results by planning and organising resources to ensure production is met within set parameters
Ensuring the products are manufactured to high quality standards
Planning and executing preventative maintenance
Have a good understanding of stock control and production planning
Contributing to and supporting the Production Manager with continuous improvement and business performance
The Candidate
Experience working in a supervisory role
Have a good understanding of HACCP
PC literacy in Microsoft Packages
Have experience in the Food/Beverage industries
Be flexible and adaptable to adhere to Company needs
