Surface Mount Inspector
Hook, RG27
Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm
Competitive salary D.O.E + healthcare + pension
Our client has identified an opportunity for an experienced Surface Mount Inspector to join their growing business based in Hook, RG27.
Position Summary
Reporting to the SMT Supervisor, as Surface Mount Inspector you will be required to inspect and ensure PCBA’s meet the requirements of IPC-A-610 Class 3.
Additionally your responsibilities will include;
• Line Inspection, Rework & support SMT as required
• Assist with the OLS/Feeder Check activities
• Inspect print quality
• Perform first off Inspection whilst ensuring that all health and safety requirements are followed
• Take responsibility for own training, learning and development activities
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will hold the required skills and qualities to hit the ground running, including;
Qualifications & Experience required;
• Educated to GSCE level (including English and Maths)
• Experience within a similar role or in an electronics manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to concentrate for long periods of time on routine tasks
• Can-do attitude with a pro active and flexible approach to your role
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
• This role will suit candidates with experience as Surface Mount Inspector, Reworker, Engineering or Manufacturing
