Job Description:

Description Purpose Accountable for the promotion and commercial growth of Celgene's products within I&I to customers. To provide key customers that are in a commissioning role within Health Boards with relevant and appropriate information. Ensure non clinical support and budget is available to support the ongoing commissioning at a local level. Role and Responsibilities: o Exceeding UK/Ireland Territory Sales Targets for promoted brands o Ensure inclusion of products to formularies, local implementation of guidelines and pull through of promoted brands in I&I. o Identify, utilize, target and build relationships with relevant stakeholders in the NHS to positively influence prescribing decisions for Celgene products in I&I. o Effective resource allocation by utilising and engaging with internal stakeholders and investing resources appropriately across priority and development accounts to enhance Celgene's value proposition. o Support NHS customers in redesigning services to take into account a change in the patient pathway that enables positive positioning of Celgene's portfolio post license o Build relationships with and lead discussions with NHS procurement agencies to submit tenders, respond to consultations etc. at regional level o To identify and develop KOLs (Local, Regional & National) towards brand advocacy and align to account plan goals. o Within the framework of Celgene's operational plans, apply LHE knowledge and insights to develop effective account plans. Plans should be reviewed with RBM/CAM on a quarterly basis and updated in FAST on a weekly basis. o Identify and share brand, customer, territory and LHE insight internally to support effective development of strategy and resources for Celgene products. o Ensure important timelines for business case submissions are met and information requests supported through medical information. o Product & Disease area knowledge - develop and maintain a high level of product & disease area knowledge to enable peer to peer level discussions with customers. o Respond to customer issues and enquiries to ensure high level of customer service for all Celgene brands. o Comply with ABPI / IPHA Regulations o Maintain safety and adverse event reporting as per company procedures Qualifications Skills and Knowledge Requirements: o Demonstrated understanding of UK commissioning processes and wider NHS policies and priorities (specialist and primary care/CCG) o Experience in redesigning patient pathways and/or service redesign o Has experience of working with local commissioners and wider NHS stakeholders o Strong numerical and analytical skills with experience of utilizing budget impact models o Evidence of high levels of selling skills and sales success. o Advanced understanding and implementation of key account management and project management. o Disease and market area knowledge and experience o Current knowledge of NHS strategy, structure and funding/patient pathways o Communication and presentation skills o Strong evidence of strategic thinking and ability to identify opportunities for Celgene products. o Ability to understand and use business supporting tools. o Experience of working in a specialist care environment o Innovative and solution focused o Proven ABPI Qualification desirable Celgene is a global biopharmaceutical company leading the way in medical innovation to help patients live longer, better lives.
