Job Title: International Accounts Payable Manager

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Central London

Pay Rate: Up to GBP400 per day AAE

Our Client, one of the world's foremost E-Commerce companies, is looking to recruit a International Accounts Payable Manager to join their Accounts Payable team based in the City of London. Candidates should have extensive and in-depth international Accounts Payable experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Ensuring supplier invoices and employee expense reports comply with company policies
  • Dealing with queries from suppliers and other departments
  • Reviewing and approving weekly payment runs
  • Recording payments on the company's accounting system
  • Maintaining the company's purchase order system and fixed asset registers
  • Preparing monthly reconciliations
  • Managing accruals, prepayments, and supplier refunds
  • Enhancing internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant standards
  • Managing a team of two Accounts Payable Accountants
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant tax rules across all applicable EMEA and APAC jurisdictions

    Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth management experience in a complex, fast-growing Accounts Payable environment
  • Experience with Concur
  • Experience of supervising American Express corporate card schemes, or similar
  • Experience of change management, including company mergers
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Fluent English
  • Proficiency in French, German or Italian would be advantageous
