We are recruiting a Residential Cook/Housekeeper for our wonderful sheltered home in Gerrards Cross, offering supported independent living for 13 residents.

We are looking for a confident and excellent cook who will provision and prepare two fresh meals daily. You will supervise house staff and work with the Trustees tocarry out and maintain the current operational standards whilst retaining a happy family atmosphere. Basic computer skills required. Certificates in Food Hygiene and First Aid an advantage although not essential.

You will be pivotal in supporting residents by liaising with a network of professionals, staff, families and volunteers to ensure their happiness and wellbeing. You will need good management skills and empathy with older people. We are looking for a cheerful, reliable and confident person. The post is subject to DBS check and references.

The role is residential with the provision of a furnished flat, covering a four day on / four off shift pattern with a deputy manager, supported by a kitchen assistant.
