Job summary and duties performed:
We are looking for a Front-End Developer to help build out our demonstration systems, client-facing UIs and other internal systems to support the commercial aims of the business, and help our products shine.
This role reports directly to the CTO.
Abilities for this role:
Our ideal candidate will have very strong front-end development skills in a variety of technologies including AngularJS, Bootstrap, and Sass. Previous experience of integrating with RESTful API services is a must.
The successful candidate should have a demonstrable appreciation for good design and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to communicate design solutions to all levels of the business.
Knowledge and Skills:
AngularJS
Experienced with responsive design and frameworks such as Bootstrap
Comfortable using Sass
Experience integrating with RESTful API services
Some experience visualising data through libraries such as D3
Appreciation for good design and understanding of modern web trends
Comfortable presenting ideas in a consumable way for others in the business, enabling them to understand concepts and solutions
Working with designers to translate their ideas into finished UIs
Writing unit tests
Automating build processes
Source control using Git
Experience working with Node.js
AWS cloud architecture
Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience utilising interactive visual elements to create interesting and engaging interfaces
Good appreciation of UX
Comprehensive Vanilla JavaScript knowledge
