Position: Audit Semi Senior
Location: Surrey, Farnham
Salary: £18,000 to £29,999 per year
Job Type: Permanent

Purpose of the role:

Based in our Farnham office, the company client is currently looking for an Audit Senior to provide support to the Audit Team in all aspects of the audit work (including some accounts and tax preparation), to ensure clients receive an efficient effective and robust professional audit service.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the growth of the Farnham office
Carry out audit testing as directed with integrity and honesty.
Manage tasks for the preparation and audit of a Company’s financial statements
Manage own work and assignments to deadlines
Apply professional scepticism to all information received during the course of the audit.
Deliver client service
Maintain audit quality standards
Return commerciality and profit for the firm.
Increase personal knowledge through education, training and experience.

Knowledge and Experience for this job:

Audit experience in a practice environment - 2 years minimum
Working towards ACA/ACCA
Client facing experience
IT Skills
MS Office
Caseware - desirable not essential
A good understanding of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet knowledge up to intermediate level
