St Gemma's Hospice is seeking a Food Assistant to work within our Estates & Facilities Team. We are looking to recruit a dedicated and loyal individual to provide a high standard of Food Service working mainly in the In-Patient unit.

You will:

  • be required to have catering/food service experience, preferably within a caring environment
  • have a knowledge of COSHH and Infection Control
  • be willing to work towards or have an NVQ qualification in Food Service and Customer Care
  • have good organisational skills
  • be able to prioritise work and use your own initiative
  • be a team player
  • ideally have a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
