Accounts Manager / Finance Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Manager / Finance Manager in a growing, forward thinking IT consultancy. Overseeing the day to day running of the finance department the candidate will play a key role within the finance department.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a step up in responsibility and progressing to the next stage of their accounting career.

Ideally the candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in an accounts department raising invoices, raising and checking purchase orders and will have a good understanding of credit control and excel.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Finance Manager and will make an important contribution to the business with a hands on approach overseeing a broad range of financial and commercial duties.

Ideally you will be AAT qualified and have experience of sage 50 and excel.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

- Oversee the operations of accounting department
- Monitoring of debtor accounts and pro-active collection of payments
- Monthly reporting
- Raising invoices/credit notes and input on excel and Sage 50
- Sales and purchase ledger
- High level of attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Immediate start, salary £30,000
