Annual Salary £30,000 - £38,000 - dependent upon experience/qualifications.
SSAIB, NSI & BAFE accredited security company requires an experienced person to install and manage subcontractors working on electronic security and fire systems around London and the South East. This is a hands-on role where you will be on the tools as well as being able to complete documentation, handle job budgets, engineers and maintain the companies good Health and Safety record. The varied job role requires an ability to:
- Maintain close client relationships
- Look for new Sales opportunities
- Liaise with main contractors
- Manage other engineers
- Determine cabling and equipment requirements for smooth installations
- Ensure final testing and client approval is completed
- Provide product Training
- Oversee completion of NSI/SSAIB paperwork by admin staff
- Create Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Report directly to the Managing Director
They would expect you to have completed Fire industry training (BAFE, FIA or equivalent) have a CSCS/CITB card and previous PASMA/IPAF and Health & safety training. An understanding of current European Standards such as PD6662, 50132-7, 50133-7 and BAFE SP203 is expected.
A Company mobile phone, dedicated office desk, laptop and company car/van will be provided.
An on-call rota system will require your participation.
Employment will be subject to successful BS7858 security screening and Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
