This company is a well-established family run steel stockholding business consisting of 43 companies within the group, based across 27 locations and employing 1100 people UK wide.

Position: Quality Support Executive / Quality Support Manager - Graduates also considered.
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £20-£35k depending on experience plus discretionary company bonus and pension after qualifying period.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the business, to support the Group Technical Manager and administrate the quality function across 2 of the sites divisions.

Your primary responsibility will be for the completion and signing of all c of c's and act as the customer interface for all communication post order for the two divisions.

Additional responsibilities include:

- To compile and report site statistics such as error rates, delivery performance, NCR's etc.
- To record credits and perform root cause analysis.
- To complete root cause analysis on all customer complaints and NCR's.
- To perform investigations on supplier non-conformances and compile data for further analysis.
- To deliver tool box talks to personnel for immediate preventative actions and continuous improvement.
- Be capable of building relationships with all external suppliers, completing visits/audits and maintaining the list of approved vendors.
- Assisting with other general office duties as and when necessary.
- To support and assist other BSEP functions as needed.
- To maintain and update supplier data i.e. ISO certification, approvals and audits.
- To participate in monthly BI Meetings and produce relevant data for analysis.
- To execute any other relevant tasks as deemed necessary.

The Candidate

They are flexible in their approach and will consider an experienced quality support executive or manager, ideally with experience in the oil & gas sector, engineering, petrochemical or equivalent or a graduate who has a strong work ethic, willingness to learn and is keen to challenge existing processes.

Knowledge of the steel industry is highly desirable, however, regardless of your experience and qualifications, they require a high level of personal organisation and time management, the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, problem solving skills and a desire to work as part of a high performing team.
