This organisation aims to encourage continuous improvement in the management of quality in the Disability Student Allowance sector.
They work closely with all stakeholders including Study Needs Assessment Centres, Assistive Technology Service Providers, Non-Medical Help Providers and various Funding Bodies.
The Central Administration Unit, based in Glasgow, is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their small team to carry out this newly established role and manage a team of 2-3 compliance officers.
The primary function of the role is to ensure providers of support services through the Department for Education's DSA (Disabled Student Allowance) funded students comply with the standards outlined in each of the quality assurance frameworks. This is achieved through multi element programmes including, self-assessment, online data submission and on site verification.
Whilst not essential, experience of this or a similar role would be beneficial.
All applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and be competent in the use of IT equipment.
The post is initially offered for a 24 month fixed term contract with the option to extend.
The current salary £20k - £25k per annum with 25 days annual leave and company pension scheme.
The closing date is Friday 28 October 2016.
