With greater focus for 2016 on ensuring 'a place where Talent thrives', part of our People Strategy is about ensuring that our team members within Haven have the operational and technical skills to fulfil their roles and deliver exceptional guest experience at our Parks and Support Office.

Within a newly forming Learning & Development function the intent is ensure a more consistent team member learning journey, which supplements the business' continued focus on culture.

This new role exists to help to deliver operational skills training, development and cultural material and to coach and engage the teams in how these skills will ultimately benefit the guest.

To be successful I will:

Passionate about developing skills, knowledge and behaviours

You will deliver training sessions that are structured, considerate of learning styles hat reflect the tone, language of our brand culture.

You will be able to inspire, motivate and engage our teams through yourdelivery

You will be able to assess, based upon agreed framework the return on investment of any training or development programme

You will want to keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, attending stakeholder meetings and attending relevant courses;


You will need to advise and possibly revisetraining programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment;


You will collaborate with the training administrator to organise suitable training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required, to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery.

You will work collaboratively when developing training solutions ensuring input from our teams and act as conduit for our teams feedback.

Our ideal candidate will be proactive and structured in their approach to work and enjoy getting fully involved with the detail and delivery of their role.
