NVQ Trained Care Assistant Job in Okehampton

We have several flexible vacancies available for experienced Care Assistants and/or Support Workers to work in sheltered housing and supported living environments in and around the Okehampton area through our friendly Exeter branch.

We are especially seeking individuals with NVQ qualifications in medicine handling/administration.

We have a range of shifts available, including days, nights and weekends or a combination of these, presenting the opportunity to work around your home life.

The Care Assistant / Support Worker Job Role:

In order to be considered for this Care Assistant job you will need the following:

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in a care environment in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs
  • Moving and handling training
  • NVQ2 / SVQ2 in Health and Social Care highly preferable
  • Medicine administration certificiate
