We have permanent, full and part time job vacancies for Registered Nurses to work in local nursing homes through our friendly Exeter branch

The Registered Nurse Job Role:

We are offering a permanent, flexible role so you can choose short or long day, night or weekend shifts. For example, you can work regular shifts to accommodate family needs or vary when you work to fit an off-duty rota, it’s your choice.

You will be involved in ensuring each resident receives an excellent standard of care that meets their personal care plan. You will need excellent clinical skills and the confidence to work with several different clients, but we will never ask you to work outside of your skill-base. 

It is essential that you have previous experience working in a nursing home setting, with dementia care experience also highly desirable for this role. You will need to be confident in leading a team of healthcare assistants should you be the only nurse on duty.

In order to be considered for a nursing job with Newcross, you will need to have:

  • Current valid NMC registration
  • At least 6 months’ post-registration experience in a nurse job
  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 2 referee contact details, one from your current employer and one from your current or previous place of work commenting on your clinical ability. You must also provide referee contact details for all other employments in the past 18 months or for your 3 most recent jobs.
