Part Time Accounts Assistant
Hays Accountancy & Finance is working exclusively with a successful privately owned business in Hull.
This is a part time position.
Established for over twenty years the company has grown rapidly and in recent years has expanded into new premises.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well established business, who are at the forefront of their industry.
The role will involve your processing the purchase ledger. You will be used to working in an accounts environment and be confident of completing the ledger. Including matching, batching and coding.
The day to day running of the purchase ledger ensuring all ledgers are up to date, reviewed on a timely basis and issues resolved as quickly as possible.
Ensure all company procedures and policies are adhered to and to suggest and implement any additional rulings required or ways of improving the process
You must have previous experience of working in a similar role is essential. You will have good knowledge of Microsoft systems including Excel, Word and Outlook.
You will possess good communication skills and have the ability to organise and prioritise own workload.
An excellent attention to detail is required as well as being team orientated.
Initially you will work two full days a week, Thursday and Friday. As you establish yourself in the role there may be opportunities to increase your hours.
