Sales Manager - Leading Health & Fitness Club - Shrewsbury
My client is currently looking for an experienced, fun, motivated sales manager to manage a large sales team, growing their membership base in Shrewsbury. The club is a fast paced environment, with a large member base, that is expected to grow day by day. You'll need to have a genuine passion for health and fitness, and sport in general, but most importantly my client is looking for a manager who thrives in working to high KPI's in a dynamic environment, and is used to being a driving force in the management team. Your role is to combine your passion for fitness, with your customer service and sales skills to attract and retain members. You will need a detailed understanding of your product, the local market and how best to achieve membership targets whilst deploying a proactive and organised approach in leading your team of membership advisors to achieve their goals. You will also need to work with the reception team to generate new leads and also provide the best possible experience for all visitors. To be successful in this role, you will also need to contribute to the club revenue target whilst managing and developing the membership advisors. You will take responsibility in research, planning and delivery of lead generation initiatives that drives the achievement of new member targets. You will improve and keep up to date with industry trends and seek further training and guidance from GM, Regional Business Manager and National Support Departments, with great progression available throughout the company. The ideal candidate will be from within the health and fitness industry, but candidates from other backgrounds will be considered, as long as they have managed teams through tough KPI's and have consistently hit over achieved on their monthly targets. The role will include some weekend work and some evening work, but the benefits of the role include a free gym membership for you and immediate family, and the earning potential is huge.
