Engineering Maintenance Technician
(4on 4off Days 5.30am ?????? 5.30pm)
Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, the successful candidate will actively contribute to the company's continuous Improvement culture throughout the site and support departmental goals. Flexibility in approach is required to maintain internal customer satisfaction.
Role Responsibilities:
?????? Planned, Preventative and Reactive Maintenance:
o Undertake maintenance, diagnosis, repair, trouble shooting and reconditioning activities on a range of machinery, maintaining all key services to Production including facilities.
?????? Defect Rectification:
o Identify and diagnose equipment and system faults. Implement countermeasures.
?????? Health & Safety:
o Actively promote H&S awareness and adhere to H&S policies and codes of practice.
?????? Continuous Improvement:
o Actively seek to make improvements where ever possible to machinery, systems and processes.
?????? Professional Manner:
o Being the ambassador for the site at all times, behaving in a professional and courteous manner with both internal and external customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience and a proven track record in:
?????? Electrical and Mechanical Engineering with a minimum qualification of NVQ level 3 or equivalent
?????? Working within a process plant on high speed machinery. Ideally within the manufacture of FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Food or Chemical etc.
?????? Mechanical and Electrical trouble shooting, fault finding, diagnosis, repair, maintenance and reconditioning activities on a diverse range of equipment
