Our Client, a FTSE 250 listed company, is currently seeking a Senior PMO Analyst to join them in a role which requires an in depth knowledge of PMO services, strong change management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills on a full time, 6-month fixed term contract
The ideal candidate will bring their expertise and experience to support the company's delivery of a change portfolio whilst remaining compliant in an increasingly challenging regulatory landscape. You will take accountability for the development, implementation and delivery of the PMO services; delivering a robust resource management process. You will be required to allocate resources in accordance with priority, based on the demand generated by Project Managers.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Implementing Project Management/ERP platform
- Resource Allocations, planning and scenario modelling
- Delivering a robust resource management process, ensuring that capacity is understood and demand is identified for a rolling time period in accordance with priority.
- Developing reporting, MI and Insight - ensuring the creation and provision of key reporting, data or metric pack as required.
- Undertaking Project Quality Assurance - ensuring that those responsible for change are hitting the expected standards and consulting on corrective actions where they are not.
- Adapting to changing demands, industry standards and best practice to ensure maximum value is gained.
- Undertaking any ad-hoc or annual activity, such as audits or annual budget processes.
Skills and experience
- In depth knowledge and experience of PMO services, processes and method
- Experience of Portfolio Management platform implementations and configuration - implementing and delivering PMO services across multiple divisions and functions
- Experience of traditional waterfall delivery of project and large programme delivery in structured change environments
- Strong change management skills
- Ability to interpret and distil complex information and data
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent Interpersonal skills
- Skilled in MS Office, Visio and Project
- Highly self-motivated
