Key responsibilities for the role include:
Responsible for the full accounting function for the company;
To manage a team of 7;
Responsible for monthly payroll including calculation of employee & management commissions;
Daily recording of sales/payments using Sage 200 - UK and International;
Process, manage, assist and reconcile Customers;
Local & International risk assessment checks for new clients;
Management and Reconcile of Discounting Finance accounts;
Process books up to Trial Balance;
Process, manage and reconcile Bank Accounts & Credit Cards;
Various company, branch and department reports to management, suppliers, HSBC and directors;
Submit all relevant company information to HMRC (incl. VAT, P35 etc.) and Companies house;
Compiling a VAT return.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Experience of the above processes;
An excellent command of written and spoken English;
Experience using Sage, advance excel (incl. Pivot tables, V-lookups and Macro's);
Previous accounts experience in a recruitment agency beneficial;
Time management and prioritising;
Excellent communication and written skills;
Excellent organisational skills;
Presentable, articulate, professional and flexible;
Positive attitude to work;
The ability to present accurate information to the Directors;
Salary: up to GBP65k plus bonus
Holiday: 28 days per annum
Benefits: after probation period - Health Scheme (entitles the employee to half Virgin Gym membership)
