My client, a national, highly successful dealership is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Doncaster site on a permanent basis due to continuing business growth.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a varied role so they are looking for a flexible team player who would like to get involved in all aspects of finance function. Duties will include:

All aspects of purchase and sales ledger

Bank reconciliations

Banking and daily cashbook

Nominal ledger reconciliations and additional reporting for month end

Accounts related queries

Ad-hoc investigation and analysis and assist with preparing accounts up to trial balance

Other ad-hoc administrative duties

The ideal candidate will have strong excel skills and would also be studying towards or completed their AAT qualification. Team-working is essential as well as having the ability to work on your own initiative. You will form an important part in a well-established accounts team and will have experience ideally in a similar varied accounts role.
