Chase and Holland are recruiting for a leading UK based retailer looking to expand internationally. Following exceptional sales in 2015, the business now turns over GBP60 million and can offer a friendly, professional environment for a Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA or ACCA) looking to expand their experience with a recognisable brand.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will assist with the development and maintenance of financial control processes, assist in the production of management accounts, manage the AP/AR team ensuring KPIs are met.
Management accounts work will include:
* Generation, posting and reviewing journals- preparation of reconciliations, account code analysis and monitoring, preparation of month end pack and associated reports
* Preparation of VAT and review of Intrastat returns
* Develop the AP/AR team to ensure that they are prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines
You will have a strong eye for process improvement and will enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders up to and including senior management. The business is keen to foster an environment of continuous self development and improvement and will sponsor the right individual through the remainder of their studies.
